DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) A postal worker is out of a job after Dallas city marshals found a large amount of mail dumped into a creek. Twenty pounds of unopened letters, bills other other sensitive information were found in the Cedar Creek bed in southern Dallas in the 75224, which affects residents in Oak Cliff. Marshals told WFAA they are certain the mail was not accidentally dropped, but intentionally dumped. The Dallas marshals office, postal service office and inspector general are investigating to see if any charges will come to the city carrier assistant who was fired. The post office is working to reprocess that mail and special agents will contact people addressed on those letters.
