Cowboys Expected to Release Romo This Week

(WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Cowboys are expected to release Tony Romo Thursday.

The decision to release him will give the former quarterback the option to go play for another team as Dak Prescott is expected to remain quarterback for the Cowboys.

Romo was injured early in the 2016 season and because of other injuries has not played more than two games in a row since the 2014 season.

Romo has been with the cowboys since 2003.
