Balch Springs (WBAP/KLIF) – A five alarm fire in Balch Springs Friday night has destroyed three adjacent businesses, and burned at least two dozen vehicles. The fire started in the Texas Pallet warehouse at Pioneer Road and Belt Line, then spread to both Jimmy’s Automotive, and Quality Pro Collision Repair on either side of the pallet storage yard. At least two dozen vehicles at the auto repair businesses were total losses. Firefighters were on the scene all night. As of Saturday morning they say the blaze is controlled, but it is not out, and they may be there for days.
