DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Police Association called once again for a City Councilman to take down an endorsement.
A law firm representing the Dallas Police Association and Dallas Fire Fighters Association warned Councilman Lee Kleinman to again take down an endorsement.
Kleinman explained he had already removed a logo on his website but didn’t notice a text version below was still on the site. It has been removed.
The DPA is satisfied according to a spokesman.
This stems from a meeting over the summer where the DPA says they were kicked out of a scheduled meeting with Kleinman. They then decided to pull their support.
Kleinman’s seat is up for election this year.
