DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Former State District Judge John Creuzot has announced he will run for Dallas County District Attorney in 2018. Creuzot has been in the criminal justice system for more than 30 years and has served as a prosecutor, defense attorney, and felony district court judge.
Creuzot says he not only wants to put criminals behind bars, but help those who have been wrongfully accused. He adds his decision to run is not an indictment of the job being done by current District Attorney Faith Johnson.
During his announcement Tuesday he was endorsed by former Dallas Mayor and Obama Administration U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk.
