(WBAP/KLIF News) The potential changes to the Affordable Care Act are being led by a handful of lawmakers, including a congressman from Texas. Representative Michael Burgess, who is also a doctor, holds the matter close to his heart. He says the budget reconciliation process will happen in about a month when parts of the ACA will be repealed and replaced with reformed pieces that should result in a less expensive healthcare marketplace. Congress passed a repeal of “Obamacare” last year, but it was of course, vetoed by President Obama.
