DALLAS (WBAP & KLIF News) — Police in Alpine have found human remains not far from where a College Student from North Texas went missing.
Zuzu Verk, originally from North Fort Worth, is a student at Sul Ross State University in Alpine. She disappeared in October and was last seen at the movies with her friends and boyfriend at the time.
This afternoon, Alpine Police posted to Facebook they found human remains in a shallow grave roughly 10 miles from the university.
The remains have been sent off for identification, so no word yet if they indeed do belong to Verk. Her parents declined to comment.
