DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) Dallas officially has a new city manager. It’s the first day on the job for T.C. Broadnax. He comes from Tacoma, Washington and is hitting the ground running on a number of city issues like hiring a police chief, finding a solution to the uptick in crime, and resolving the finances of the police and fire pension fund. Broadnax says he hopes to have a new chief in place within 2-3 months. He also plans to go over all of the paperwork involved with the pension fund to find a solution and make the police department a more attractive place to work in order to encourage officers.
