FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) Fort Worth police are giving back in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Yesterday, drivers who got pulled over for minor violations like failing to signal, or not wearing a seatbelt, were surprised with a turkey instead of a ticket. Officer Anthony Colter was in one of 5 teams of officers panned out across the city. He told WFAA dozens of birds were handed out. All of the drivers said they were grateful for the gesture.
