Grapevine (WBAP/KLIF News) – Charges are filed against the suspect in the case of a woman’s burned body that was found in a park near Lake Grapevine.
“Sunday afternoon detectives arrested 30-year old Charles Dean Bryant of Haslet,” said Sergeant Robert Eberling with the Grapevine Police. “Bryant is charged with Capital Murder, which is a capital felony. His bond is set at $1 million.”
Eberling says Jackie Vandagriff and Charles Bryant seen together Tuesday night at a bar in Denton…they left together about 11:00. About 6:30 the next morning, her burned and dismembered remains were found in Acorn Woods Park in Grapevine.
Police arrested Bryant at his home in Haslet, and Eberling said the FBI was brought in to help recover and process a good deal of evidence that detectives found there.
