DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A prominent blogger and photojournalist is suing Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the officer who arrested him.
Avi Adelman was asked to stop taking pictures of paramedics responding to a medical emergency on DART’s Rosa Park’s Plaza in February. He arrested for trespassing.
He spent almost a day in jail, but the charges were dropped weeks later.
A DART internal investigation found the arresting officer was at fault, not Adelman.
It is not clear whether or how the officer will be disciplined.
