DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) Dallas police arrested one of their own after a domestic incident. Senior Corporal Jose Gamez is accused of choking his girlfriend during an argument at the Omni Dallas hotel early Sunday. He has been placed on administrative leave during an internal investigation. Gamez shot and killed a shooting suspect at a gas station two years ago. He claims the suspect refused to drop his gun. Gamez has been on the force for 7 years.
