FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine will be stopping in Fort Worth tomorrow. He’s in Austin today for his first fundraising event on his Texas tour. He will attend a private fundraiser there for democratic volunteers. Tomorrow’s event in Fort Worth will help raise money for Clinton’s “Hillary Victory Fund.” The fund, which is meant to share donations among Clinton, the DNC, and state parties was criticized by her opponents as a way for her to skirt fundraising limits for her own campaign. Some political experts say democrats have a long-term strategy of visiting Texas, in hopes of turning it into a blue state. Tomorrow’s event will be at the home of Marty Englander, the CEO of a Waco-based container company.
