ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Arlington City Council is preparing to move forward with a $1 billion investment.
Council members are working on a plans to build a new stadium for the Texas Rangers.
They plan to vote on calling a special election during Tuesday’s regular meeting.
A final vote is scheduled for Aug. 9.
The proposal would be put on the General Election ballot and voters in Arlington would have the final say on Nov. 8.
