DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A restaurant employee in Dallas is accused of turning away a group of police officers who were trying to grab some lunch.
The officers were told that their presence at the Genghis Grill on Greenville might scare off other customers.
The officers left without being seated, but word of the incident spread and an internal investigation by management resulted in the employee being fired.
The restaurant said they reached out to any officer who has complained and that they support law enforcement.
A manager said Officer Michael Krol even frequented the location before he was murdered in the ambush on July 7th.
