Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Fire Rescue fought a three alarm fire late Friday night in the West Coast University building on I-35E at Empire Central, although it wasn’t really much of a fight. The fire started in an unattended microwave in a 6th floor break room. The building’s sprinkler system controlled most of it. Firefighters called the third alarm to bring in enough manpower to properly ventilate the building. One firefighter suffered some heat related stress, and was hospitalized, but is now OK.
