“Pokemon Go” Helps McKinney Merchants

MCKINNEY (WBAP/KLIF News) Some small business owners in North Texas are boosting their business with Pokemon Go. Aaron Werner is with Historic Downtown McKinney. He met with merchants to discuss a promotion that brings players to downtown and injects more money into the local economy. The city is also asking players to be careful and stay aware of their surroundings. Denton Regional Medical Center tweeted just yesterday, a plea for players to stay off of their emergency helipad.
