DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – It may seem like summer is already here, but it doesn’t officially arrive until late Monday afternoon.
With the recent surge in temperatures the Salvation Army is opening fourteen cooling stations across the Metroplex to try and help people keep cool.
The stations will provide air conditioning and bottled water to those that stop by.
They’ll be located at the two main Salvation Army offices. The one on Harry Hines in Dallas and on Lancaster in Fort Worth, along with the agency’s 12 community centers.
