FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – Crews are making repairs to a water main break in east Fort Worth which caused thousands of homes and businesses to lose pressure.
The break in the 42″ line on the northwest corner of Interstate 30 and Beach Street sent water spewing 30 feet into the air.
Calls quickly started coming into the city’s 911 system.
The line was rerouted, flushed and pressure was restored late Sunday night.
Officials say the water is safe to use and drink.
