Runoff Elections Across North Texas

Voting Machine 1FORT WORTH (WBA[/KLIF) – A number of run-off elections Tuesday across North Texas.

In Tarrant county, incumbent sheriff Dee Anderson is facing former Dalworthing Gardens police chief Bill Waybourn.

Anderson got 48-percent of the vote in the March primary. Waybourn 40-percent.

The winner of the run-off will be sheriff since no democrat is in the race for November.
In Dallas county there’s a run-off in the republican race for sheriff.

Aaron Meek is facing off against Kirk Launius. The winner will tackle incumbent Lupe Valdez in November.
In Denton county, Reed King and Lynn Stucky are battling each other for republican state representative.

In Collin county, in the republican race for Texas house district 33, John Keating takes on Justin Holland.
