FRISCO ( WBAP/KLIF) – A major part of a high voltage power line proposed along West Main street in Frisco will be buried underground.
That’s the decision from the Texas Public Utility Commission.
About two miles of the three mile long line will be buried. The city of Frisco and electric users will pick up the majority of the 28 million dollar price tag.
At the same time the city plans to expand Main street from four to six lanes.
PUC commissioners will officially sign off on the deal at their next monthly meeting.
