DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A pickup truck driver hit and killed a woman along Interstate 30 in east Dallas overnight.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said it happened near Buckner Boulevard.
The driver told investigators the woman walked in front of him and he couldn’t stop in time.
Authorities said the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
Homeless people have been staying in the area since “Tent City” under Interstate 45 was shut down earlier this month.
