FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF News) – A woman from Frisco is the latest person in North Texas to contract the Zika virus.
The Collin County Health Department said the woman traveled outside of the United States and began to feel ill upon return.
Tests revealed she was positive for the mosquito-borne illness.
This is the first confirmed case in Collin County.
Dallas has reported six cases. There have been three in Tarrant, one in Denton and one in Wise counties.
