KAUFMAN (WBAP/KLIF News) – A one-time policeman and school resource officer in Kaufman is charged with indecency and sexual assault of a child.
Daniel Carrier, 43, was indicted by a grand jury in Kaufman County.
Prosecutors have not released many details about the charges. Court papers said the incident occurred about seven years ago and the victim was not a student at Kaufman ISD.
Carrier left the police department in 2014.
He was released on bonds totaling $20,000.
