DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The union representing school maintenance and custodial workers in Dallas is urging hundreds of their members to get their blood tested.
The move comes after school officials revealed earlier this week that lead was discovered in the water at the building where they headquarter.
The WH Cotton building in downtown Dallas is nearly 100-years-old.
The union said employees have complained for years about various illnesses that could be related.
All water lines into the building have been shut off.
The district is providing bottled water for workers.
