FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – There will be a runoff May 24th to decide the Tarrant County sheriff’s race.
Incumbent Dee Anderson garnered 48% of the vote to 40% for challenger Bill Waybourn. He’s the former police chief in Dalworthington Gardens.
Anderson has been sheriff in Tarrant County for the past 15-years.
With no democrat running in November, the winner of the runoff will be the next sheriff.
