LEWISVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News) – A man who escaped from custody earlier this month has been recaptured.
Thomas Cano, 37, was nabbed by an undercover officer in Dallas while he was looking into vehicles in a parking lot on Webb Chapel Extension.
Cano made his getaway Valentine’s Day while undergoing treatment at the Medical Center of Lewisville.
The officer watching him became distracted by a disturbance.
Cano was initially charged with driving while intoxicated. He is now facing escape and theft charges.
Bond has been set at $120,000.
