ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – For the second time in a month police in Arlington make a marijuana growing operation bust.
An Oncor worker tipped off police about the pot after being dispatched to a residence to initially investigate the possible theft of electricity.
He told officers that he smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the house. Cops obtained a search warrant and inside they found almost 100-plants.
One person was taken into custody. More arrests could follow.
Just last month, DPS special agents discovered a underground growing operation at a different Arlington home.
