DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – More tests are being done Wednesday to try and figure out what made some students sick at Lakewood Elementary School in Dallas.
The district conducted air tests earlier in the week. There were concerns over a possible carbon monoxide leak. Nothing was found.
Officials are now testing the water. They want to make sure it meets normal drinking standards.
A number of students were sent home last week, complaining of headaches and nausea.
Three additional nurses have been placed on campus.
The 65-year-old school is scheduled to undergo more than $12 million in improvements later this year.
