FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – Ethan Couch heads before a judge in Tarrant County on Friday.
The judge will decide whether to move Couch from the juvenile system to adult court. Without change, his probation for killing four people in a drunk driving crash would come to an end on his 19th birthday in April.
If the judge moves the teen’s case, he could also be sentenced to four months in jail in addition to his probation.
Couch and his mom, Tonya, left the country in late November as authorities were investigating if he violated his probation. Tonya Couch has been charged with hindering apprehension, and is awaiting trial.
