DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Although the calendar says February, we’re already seeing the start of Spring allergies.

Some of the biggest culprits: Elm and Cedar.  They’ve surged to extremely high levels this week.

Experts say your watery and itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing and coughing will likely stick around through Sunday. So, until then, stock up on the tissues and hand sanitizer.  Doctors also recommend keeping your windows closed, washing you hair each night to remove any pollen that has attached to you throughout the day, and limiting your outside activities – especially in the morning.

If at any time you have a fever, check with your doctor.  It may be more than allergies.
