Fort Worth ISD Weighs Pay Changes

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – Hundreds of employees in the Fort Worth School District are asking for a change in the way they are paid.

A petition with more than 1,800 signatures has been handed over to school trustees.  It asks that administrators shift the current monthly payday.  Workers are only paid once a month, but in certain situations they undergo a six-week gap between checks.

According to the Star Telegram, district officials are hesitant to make the changes because of potential cash flow problems.
