MARFA (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – U-S Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia has passed away.
The 79-year-old jurist was found dead over the weekend in his suite at a hunting camp in far West Texas. It’s thought he passed away from natural causes.
Employees at the Cibilo Creek Lodge near Marfa went to check on Scalia when he didn’t show up for a meal on Saturday. He was discovered still in his bed.
Authorities say there were no signs of foul play.
Scalia had been on the Supreme Court since 1986 when he was appointed by President Ronald Reagan.
His body has been flown back to the Washington D-C area for funeral arrangements.
