DENTON (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – Denton officials admit they haven’t been testing the city’s water supply as often as they should have been.
State standards require at least 50samples every three years.
But, in a recent notice to homeowners, Denton officials say not one sample was taken in the past 12 months.
The tests check for lead and copper levels.
Denton Water Utilities says it’s putting a new plan in place to make sure the tests are conducted as required.
