Healthcareonomics
with Dr. Kevin Wacasey and Bryan Dolgin
Sunday 4PM – 4:30PM
Kevin Wacasey, M.D. is the host of Healthcareonomics. He’s been practicing medicine since 1994. When he graduated from medical school, Dr. Wacasey took an oath to do no harm to patients. In Dr. Wacasey’s interpretation, that includes financial harm.
It’s no secret that since the advent of managed care almost 40 years ago, health care prices have skyrocketed. Contrary to what we’re told by the media every day, it isn’t the costs of healthcare that are outrageous; it’s the charges.
In Healthcareonomics, Dr. Wacasey will explain how healthcare came to be so unaffordable and inaccessible, discuss how health insurance is changing, and explore what you can do to not only save money, but take control of your health in ways you never could before. Healthcare doesn’t have to be expensive.
Bryan Dolgin, of Miller Public Relations, is a veteran radio broadcaster who is Dr. Wacasey’s co-host of Healthcareonomics.
Healthcareonomics airs every Sunday at 4 pm on 570 KLIF, and it’s available on podcast. Send him an email to [email protected]. During his show, Dr. Wacasey will answer your questions and comments. Follow Healthcareonomics on Twitter (@HConomics) and on Facebook.
