Major Leage Baseball has made it official…12 players, including the Texas Ranger's Nelson Cruz, have accepted 50-game penalties associated with an investigation into performance-enhancing drugs. The only player who hasn't accepted is Alex Rodriguez of the Yankees. Former Ranger and current New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez will be suspended — apparently through the end of next year. But he'll be able to play while he appeals the penalty to an arbitrator.
