KLIF FILM SERIES
AT THE ANGELIKA: At The Angelika
Dallas & Plano
Film Centers: AS IT IS IN HEAVEN
AS IT IS IN HEAVEN, an Oscar nominee
for Best Foreign Language Film and one
of Sweden’s largest-grossing films from multiple award winning director Kay Pollak, is a delightfully sweet and uplifting tale of personal courage and strength. The undeniably charming film follows a successful but lonely conductor (Michael Myquist) as he interrupts his career to
return to his childhood village in northern Sweden. When he takes a job as the choir master of the tiny community, his reappearance inspires tremendous musical growth and unexpectedly drags
out some of the town’s most gripping secrets and dramas.
