Jon-David started his Broadcasting career at age 15, as the sign-off announcer at K-131; the proverbial “five-kilowatt daylighter” in Barstow, California.  In the subsequent 36 years, he has traveled America building the kind of knowledge and experience base a professional talk show host simply must have.

In travels from Detroit to New Orleans, Atlanta to Las Vegas, and now Dallas/Ft. Worth, J-D has had impressive professional success; garnering number one ratings in 5 different formats, and setting all-time high ratings records which still stand in some af the country's most competitive markets. 

“The Wells Report” is about truth and solutions.  “I want KLIF’s friends, old and soon-to-be alike, to know that whenever they hear this broadcast, their time won’t be wasted with partisan drivel, material that embarasses their kids, or anything that will insult their intelligence.”  Wells went on to say; “ If you’re listening to this broadcast, we’re waiting for your side of whatever story is on the table.”  “The Wells Report" may have my name on it, but this is our show….It belongs to us; the regular people who pay for everything.”

J-D’s hobbies include all forms of Motorsports (he’s a pathetic motorhead), Sailboat Racing, and Coaching Baseball.  He is also an avid Rifle and Pistol Shooter, and a really lousy Musician.  “I’m actually the worst Symphonic Percussionist in America”, said Wells after several triumphant summer seasons with the Las Vegas Symphony, (and after being fired by maestro Hal Weller, Music Director of the Las Vegas Philharmonic.)  He is also a rock drummer, and plays 5-String banjo….”I’m not very good, but at least it’s loud.”     

Jon-David, and wife SusanAnn have just celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary, and are the proud parents of 9 year-old Colton Joseph.
