Well, of course we had a great Christmas..It was what came BETWEEN Christmas and New Years that I'll mention!

My wife went to Chicago to visit her family and get a break from homeschooling, the kids..and ME!

While she was gone, she left a to do list..and..we did lots of stuff that usually Grandparents do!  It was FUN (SOME of it!)!

Like... Bagging leaves!!  20 BAGS FULL!

and... playing Sonic Advance on our new WII!!

PLUS.... HOURS at LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTER!!

and lastly... YES, it was MY idea to make cookies from scratch..we decorated them, too..but sadly, I didn't take the pic until we had just this last 'lil one left.  Do you see the REPAIR JOB/SURGERY we had to do on this guy's shoulder??? They fall apart EASILY before baked.
AND..since mom wasn't here..we ate LOTS of the cookie dough!
