FORT WORTH – WBAP/KLIF – Fort Worth offices of the American Red Cross are hosting an “open house” on Monday, inviting the public in to learn about volunteer opportunities and more details about the ARC services, in addition to requesting blood donations. Spokeswoman Lisa Morgan says this time of year is usually critical for blood supplies, as donors tend to stay inside more with harsher winter weather conditions and illnesses such as the flu and colds.
The open house will be held Monday January 20th from 9 am until 3 pm, at the Fort Worth offices of the American Red Cross., 6000 Western Place.
