North Texas Projected For Warmer and Drier Winter Than Normal

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- We can expect a warmer and drier winter than normal in North Texas. New data shows neutral conditions for the El Nino climate pattern this fall, though this month could see some lower swings. Sarah Barnes with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth says their Climate Prediction Center expects December and January to feature unseasonably warm temperatures for North Texas. Texas is expected to be the exception when it comes to precipitation this Fall. Wetter than average weather is predicted for the northern tier of the U.S.
