LAVON (WBAP/KLIF News) – As the students, staff and families in Community ISD mourn the tragic deaths of four Community High School students killed in a car crash this week, North Texans are pitching in to help cover the costs of the funerals.
The students died Tuesday night, when a car they were riding in hydroplaned and lost control on State Highway 78 near Main Street in Lavon Tuesday night.
Lavon Police released the names of the victims: 17-year-old Andrew Miller, 17-year-old Jordan Kidd, 16-year-old Marilynn Dominguez and 16-year-old Secily Lackey.
Community High School held a vigil for the students Wednesday night at the football field where people talked about their loss and held a moment of silence.
