Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Two Dallas Police officers sitting in a marked squad car with the emergency lights on early Saturday morning on Grand Avenue a little north of I-30 were hit by a suspected drunk driver. The officers were waiting on a tow truck to haul away a vehicle that had been involved in an accident when they were rammed from behind. The driver of the vehicle that hit them, 24 year old Melissa Mejia, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and outstanding warrants. There were no injuries.
