Texas Education Agency Releases 2019 School Accountability Ratings

AUSTIN  (WBAP/KLIF News) – As the new school year gets underway, the Texas Education Agency has released its latest school report cards.

The “Accountability Ratings” are based on data from last school year and assigns grades “A” through “F” to each school with an overall grade given to each district.

The grades are based on student achievement, school progress and closing the racial gap.

How did North Texas school districts rate?

10 Collin County and five Tarrant County school districts received As.

Of the largest districts, Plano, Frisco, McKinney and Garland ISDs received As…Dallas, Lewisville and Arlington got Bs…and Fort Worth ISD received a C.
