Denton, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A 22-year old Denton man is in Denton county jail on charges that he decapitated his mother with a hacksaw earlier this month.
The discovery came after a series of bizarre incidents involving Isaac Israel Warriner, who was arrested in Oklahoma and returned to Denton County late last week. He faces charges of abuse of corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
Police say that on May 1, Sarah Ann Warriner took her son to a hospital after he reportedly cut his arms with a razor. According to records he told a nurse that he was going to kill his mother and himself, then left the hospital alone on foot.
On May 5th, Denton Police responded to a suspicious person call about someone with “all types of cleaning supplies, acting weird.”
Police found the headless body of a woman in Warriner’s family apartment, later identified as Sarah Ann Warriner. His father said his son had suffered a mental breakdown a month prior, according to the Fort Worth Star Telegram.
