Dallas County DA Recuses Himself from Alexander’s Prosecution

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot has recused himself and his entire office from handling the prosecution of activist Dominique Alexander.

Kimberlee Leach with the DA’s office gave WBAP/KLIF a statement: “Dallas County District Attorney will recuse the office from activist Dominique Alexander’s domestic violence case because of a conflict of interest. Alexander campaigned for him. It will be up to a judge to appoint a pro tem.”

Alexander was arrested on one assault bodily injury charge and one misdemeanor assault charge. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail Friday his bond is set for other $26,000.
