DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Several people, including students, were taken to the hospital after a school bus from Bishop Dunne Catholic High School overturned on I-30 near Loop 12 Walton Walker.
Annette Gonzalez Taylor with the Dallas Diocese says the driver of the bus acted quickly to help the passengers despite the fact she was injured.
Two drivers stopped and helped open the back door to allow students to get off the bus.
Bishop Burns visited several of the students at Methodist Central after the accident. Everyone was thankful none of the injuries were considered to be serious. Authorities are now working to determine what caused the accident that left the bus on it’s side in the ditch.
