DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — The service dog who helped President George H.W Bush the last several months now has a new gig.

Sully the yellow Labrador has been by the former President’s side since June, after his wife Barbara Bush passed away in April.

The spokesperson for the nation’s 41st President posted a photo to social media with Sully laying by Bush’s casket, with the caption reading “Mission complete.”

The dog will now go help wounded soldiers recover from their lines of duty at the Walter Reed Military Medical Center.

On Monday, Sully will reportedly accompany Bush’s casket from Houston to Washington D.C.
