Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Parishioners at Oak Cliff’s St. Cecilia Catholic Church were stunned Sunday to learn their longtime former pastor, the Rev. Edmundo Paredes is under investigation for allegedly molesting three teenage parish boys a decade ago, and for stealing $80,000 in church funds. Father Paredes was pastor at St. Cecilia’s for 27 years. He was removed from that post a year ago, and hasn’t been seen since. Church officials believe he may be in the Philippines, but say they can’t be sure.
