GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP-KLIF News) – Police in Louisiana arrested a North Texas man after he turned himself in to face a murder charge in Grand Prairie.

56-year-old Jimmie Reynolds is accused of killing his boss, 57-year-old Carlos Aparicio, after an alleged argument between the two on July 4. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Aparicio was found unconscious after being shot in a warehouse at his Grand Prairie road construction business. An emergency crew rushed Aparicio to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Irving, where he was pronounced dead.

Grand Prairie police say Reynolds had worked for Aparicio off and on for several years. The US Marshal Service helped track Reynolds to the New Orleans area, where he turned himself in. He will be extradited to the Lew Sterrett Justice Center to face murder and related charges.
